Introducing……Tracey Holroyd!

Tracey is Easy-trim’s Purchasing Manager and is responsible for the negotiation and procurement of the goods and services used by the company.

Forecasting, maintaining supplier relationships, stock analysis and much more keep Tracey a busy little bee here at Easy-Trim.

1. How would you describe your day job at Easy-Trim? Busy…. Very busy, there’s never a quiet moment in Purchasing. There are so many new machines, product and projects there’s something new to get into every day.
2. Before Easy-Trim, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had and why? I’ve been at Easy Time since I was 18 so I’ve not really had many jobs…… I did work at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel before here and met a few famous people
3. What is your biggest achievement in life to date? I know everyone says the same but my little boy Reuben is by far the biggest achievement in my life, and I’m not sure there’s anything that could top that.
4. What is the most important thing you have learned in the last 5 years? So I had my first child in the last 5yrs so I’ve learnt more than I ever thought I would, the most important thing is that family is everything!! Without them does anything else really matter?
5. If you could pick anyone, dead or alive to be your life mentor who would it be and why? Trevor Mcdonald….. I just love his voice
6. Tell us the one thing you cannot live without? Hard….I should say my child, but he’s been mentioned twice already so I’m going to go with…. Alcohol J
7. What three traits best describe you? Loyal, Honest (sometimes too much) & Loud
8. If you could switch job roles with anyone here, what would you be doing? I’d probably like to be out on the road in sales, meeting people face to face.
9. If you could learn to do anything what would it be? Drive
10. Tell us the one thing you hate the most? Materialistic people
11. What is your hidden talent or party trick? I don’t have one L or at least nothing I’d admit too.
12. What is your life motto or personal mantra? Collect moments, not things
13. If you came back as an animal what would you be and why? A bird, so I can fly
14. When you’re not working at easy-trim what do you get up to? Having a 2yr old my life outside work pretty much revolves around him.
15. If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life what would it be? It’s got to be Indian, anything spicy.
16. What’s your favourite movie and why? I can’t choose just 1…. It’s between Total Recall & Shawshank Redemption
17. What’s the one thing that’s surprised you about working at Easy-Trim? The friends I’ve made along the way
18. Name four famous figures you’d invite to a dinner party. Trevor Macdonald, Martina Cole, Morgan Freeman & Shane Filan (from Westlife)
19. If you could make one change at Easy-trim, what would it be? I’d put a window in at Junction 7, sometimes feels like were in a hole underground
20. If you could only have 3 apps on your phone, what would they be? Whatsapp, Spotify and Netflix.
